*Very important. Please read before booking your party bus or limousine service*
Our number one priority is to provide all of our customers with the best possible service at the best possible price. To do this it is important that you understand how we operate. It is likely that you are booking our services to help you celebrate a special occasion and although we are not here to spoil your fun, we have a few rules for you to consider before you enter into a hire contract with us. I will keep this as short as possible and in plain English so that you have a chance to read and understand our terms.
Safety We want you to have the best experience possible but we have a duty of care to make sure you are safe while you are in our vehicles. It is mainly common sense and some of it might seem obvious to you but here goes. Please make your fellow passengers aware of our terms and conditions so that they have a chance to read and understand them..
Seat belts Seat belts must be worn where provided.
Passenger conduct Abusive, aggressive, or violent behaviour will not be tolerated whether towards fellow passengers or our drivers and staff. It is vital that our drivers are able to concentrate fully on driving the vehicle safely so if you feel that you must approach the driver, do so in a calm and respectful manner. Any queries or complaints etc can be dealt with appropriately once the vehicle comes to rest. Due to the type of road you may be travelling on it might not be safe to stop so please be patient. Please remember, we are here to help you enjoy your special occasion so we will always make every effort to help in any way we can. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any of our vehicles, anyone who we feel might put the safety and comfort of our passengers and staff at risk. You may not be allowed in our vehicles if we feel that you are not in a fit state to travel through alcohol, drugs (illicit or otherwise), or even illness. We reserve the right to eject any passenger or passengers who we feel are putting the safety and comfort of our passengers and staff at risk. Drunken aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated so please think about this. You may be left stranded in a city miles from home, or you may be asked to leave our vehicle mid journey if your behaviour is deemed unacceptable. Your behaviour may result in the termination of the whole journey for everyone on board without any refund of payment made. Anyone refusing to cooperate will be reported to the police immediately. For the comfort and safety of passengers and staff CCTV cameras and recorders are in operation on all of our vehicles. If you do not want to be filmed please do not book our service. All CCTV footage is wiped from our system if it is not needed for evidence but sometimes it is transferred to a DVD and given to you as a gift. For your comfort and safety CCTV is in operation in all of our vehicles. All CCTV footage is the property of our company, Bliss Limousine Hire. Sometimes we upload footage gathered on our CCTV systems to Facebook and You Tube. If you don't want to be filmed then please do not use our services. By booking our services you are giving your permission on behalf of yourself and your fellow passengers for any or all video footage, or photographs to be used by us, (Bliss Limousine Hire) on social media or any promotional material as we see fit.
Alcohol You are permitted to bring alcohol on-board our vehicles but it is the responsibility of the lead hirer to ensure anyone consuming alcohol is at, or over the legal age to be able to do so. Our motto is, "The best party on wheels in the North east" we are not your parents or guardians and we are not here to spoil your fun but, we would encourage you to drink responsibly whether before, during, or after your time in our vehicles. Please be considerate and don't let too much alcohol spoil your night. Moving vehicles and too much alcohol is not a good mix so if our driver feels that you are not in a fit state to board the bus, you may be refused entry and have to make other arrangements to travel home. This would be a last resort but we have to put the safety and comfort of passengers and staff first. Bottled water is always available in our vehicles so please ask if would like a bottle.
Damage or breakages Accidents happen but we expect unnecessary damage or breakages to be paid for. Please treat our vehicles and equipment with care and respect. Any breakages or damage caused wilfully or by negligence will be charged for including loss of earnings should the vehicle be beyond repair by the time of the next hire. Cleaning fees may be charged if our vehicle is left in an unreasonable state of hygiene above and beyond what would be deemed acceptable for the type of hire. A charge of £50 will be made especially should a passenger expel bodily fluids or otherwise onto any surface within the vehicle. The lead hirer is responsible for any charges made in relation to damage, breakages, or cleaning. Before volunteering yourself as lead hirer please consider your extra responsibilities. If you are in any doubt please do not hire our services.
Booking times, departures and arrivals Although we always do our very best to adhere to the times agreed on your booking form, sometimes it is just not possible. This can be due to weather, snow, ice, or other weather conditions. Traffic conditions including road closures, diversions, accidents can also affect booking times. Vehicle and equipment break down or failure can also come into play. Our party bus is subject to tachograph rules regarding driving hours so on occasion this could disrupt our schedule due to a driver having to take a compulsory rest break. Although we plan our journeys meticulously a traffic jam for instance might cause a hold up meaning a driver may have to take a rest break, when he should be at your departure point. These situations are beyond our control so we can not accept any responsibility or offer any refunds or discounts in the rare and unlikely event of a situation arising. All pick up and departure/arrival times are approximate although we always do our very best to adhere to the pre booked times. To help us achieve our goals regarding punctuality, we need our customers to make every effort to board our vehicles at the agreed times, especially in relation to our party bus due to drivers hours and tachograph regulations. If you are 30 minutes late then you could end up spending an extra 45 minutes sitting on the bus while our driver takes a compulsory rest break. This will result in a 75 minute delay. (30mins plus 45mins) This is the law and beyond our control. In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown we will not leave you stranded. We will always provide transport to get you home and if your journey has not commenced, we will do our very best to offer alternative transport. Our vehicles are maintained regardless of cost and inspected every 8 weeks at a VOSA approved testing station.
Deposits and payments A deposit is required to secure your booking. We can not hold bookings until we have received your deposit except by prior agreement. All deposits are none refundable unless your booking has to be cancelled by us. We are unable to accept cancellation of bookings within 28 days of the actual hire date. If you cancel your booking within 28 days of your booking date the full invoice amount will be due. Any bookings taken within28 days of the actual hire date must be paid for in full (except by prior agreement) and no refund will be given in the event of a cancellation by the hirer. Once you have made a booking you have entered into a legally binding contract. You have agreed to book and pay for our vehicle for an agreed amount of time and as such we can not take any other bookings for your time slot. The closer to the booking date, the more unlikely it is that we will be able to secure another booking to replace yours. Sometimes we can not even accept another booking that day and maybe even the next day depending on the time of your hire and the amount of hours and driving time booked. Once booked, we have costs to meet. Drivers have to be booked and paid for regardless of whether you cancel or not. We can not operate our business on cancelled jobs so please be absolutely certain that your really do require our services before making a booking. We will never cancel your booking just because we don't feel like doing it. We will never cancel your booking just because we have received a better job offer with more profit, so we expect you to show the same level of integrity. We always pursue cancelled payments or payments for cancelled jobs through the small claims court if necessary. Deposits and all other payments are the sole responsibility of the lead hirer who's name and address will be on the booking form. It is the lead hirer's responsibility to collect any contributions monetary or otherwise from any contributing passenger/passengers. All bookings must be paid for in full by the agreed time and date as per the booking form. We will not accept cheques unless we have had time to bank them and they have cleared. We will not accept part payment, for example, half on outward journey then the other half on inward journey. All bookings must be paid for in full before the start of your journey.
The lead hirer has a great deal of extra responsibility so please think long and hard before putting yourself forward as lead hirer. You could end up seriously out of pocket should your fellow passengers let you down so if you are in any doubt, please do not book with us. If you still want to go ahead and book we strongly advise that you collect any financial contributions from fellow passengers before entering into a legally binding contract with us or indeed any other company. We do want your custom but we want you to be totally happy with the service you have booked.
